This affordable contouring palette does the job perfectly. I have medium tones and medium skin. The shades match my skin tone perfectly. The tin has a mirror inside and a separate cake with dark contouring powder and lighter highlighting powder. The powders are matte, although the light shade has a slightly pearly finish. When I apply powder with a brush, almost nothing falls out and both can be blended well. It works very well to contour my face. I'm not an expert and I don't apply this material in large amounts, but I do contour my nose and apply a little on the cheekbones and chin. It looks natural after blending and adds some depth to my face. I prefer creams over powders because I have very dry skin, but this powder isn't heavy or too sticky. This is a simple palette that gets the job done with ease. If you're doing complex contours, you might need something higher quality, but it's fine for me.
