I didn't plan to use them to sleep in. I I work from home and try to avoid tying my hair in a ponytail. They are nice to wear at home. I slept in them. I have very thin edges. I've tried all types of sleepyheads and it seems like my edges are getting beat up because the beanies slide off and take my hair with it. The great thing about these shawls is that they are all made of silk. Even the elastic part on the back is covered with silk. Less damage to my edges when they slide a little. They don't slip, which is a big plus. Within a month of wearing these hats I noticed that my brim had gotten a little fuller. They are so comfy for sleeping. They don't hurt me because of the tight elastic band like other hats. They don't slip on me. Maybe because my hair is a little thicker. They are so soft and the colors are beautiful. I love her. I can order a second pack just to have them.
