Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Enhanced Visibility: DVISUV 5x7 LED Headlight for Jeep Cherokee XJ - Hi/Lo Beam DRL Replacement - 2PCS by Mike Ken

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Suspicious to Proven Worthy

1) Starts with a 1 star rating due to lack of instructions either inside or on the box. You will need to rely on the drawing above to ensure you have wired the DRL and turn signal connectors correctly. For many people, even the slightest bit of red/green color blindness will blur the picture. This means that close shades of color can be difficult to distinguish due to actual toning or poor/small photos. 2) Due to point 1 above, people may waste time and details trying to test different wires. connection results. I really hate wasting time messing around with the wiring because I don't have a clear diagram. 3) The box is a plain black box wrapped in cellophane. My box didn't even list the company that was in the box or any customer service numbers. They pay the same money as most name brand headlights I've looked at/bought from Revain. but this is the only headlight with zero information anywhere on the box or in the box. At this price per bulb, for such a decidedly questionable amount of product information and product support, this fixture should do better than Man o' War or Seattle. Hit for the Triple Crown! I will re-evaluate and update this review after the second headlight arrives in 4-5 days. At that point I will consider increasing the rating. Aside from being annoyed at the lack of the most basic stuff, 1 star is really something for people to read. So this review is for those who really want to know all the dirty little secrets about their eventual purchase. 4) The headlight was not packaged well like many headlights in this price range, but arrived undamaged. 5) The headlight looks pretty solid and can work really well to keep it intact 6) The quick turn on of the light almost blinded me even in bright sunshine so that's another plus. I didn't have any wires yet to test the daytime running lights or turn signals. I hope they will be just as bright and easy to see. 7) Based on my previous set of headlights for my resto-mod 1989 Chevy 4x4, I'm installing the recommended relay harness to avoid any random problems I've encountered before. I would advise everyone to invest a small amount of money and time up front and not waste your life on hours of troubleshooting and test fixes. die easily from the slightest fluctuation in performance. and the relay wiring harness prevents exactly these problems.
