I preferred the Amazefit BOSE Sleep Buds for several reasons. 1) price 2) application features. And I returned the Amazefit BOSE sleep headphones for one reason: 1) The Amazefit app is just awful. I suffer from pretty terrible insomnia (no sleep problems but I wake up multiple times during the night) and I was very happy to find the half price BOSE Sleepbud II and the app features were much more attractive than the BOSE app which only has sleep sounds and alarm. However, the features of the Amazefit app, such as the heart rate monitor and sleep tracker, are far from accurate and truthful information. I compared my sleep data to Apple Watch data and was very disappointed with the quality of the results. I know I wake up and am up for about 30 minutes or more, but the app says I slept all night or was only up a few minutes. Also, the Amazefit app is very cumbersome and you have to click multiple areas to get where you want to go. It's just not ideal. There are so many roads to take to get to your destination. I got lost a few times and I like to consider myself a fairly tech-savvy person. I sent them back after 25 days and suggested if you are looking for sleep buds just save the extra $125 for the BOSE brand, you will be so glad you did. You really do get what you pay for and those missed marks in every important area EXCEPT comfort, they were comfortable to wear. The first few nights (sleeping on my side) they stuck too deep in my ear, but I adjusted the size of the silicone tips and that problem was solved. Sounds are also limited compared to the BOSE brand, with just 8 options to choose from versus around 40 in the BOSE library. Of course, the quality of BOSE buds is second to none. If you are looking for a cheap option for BOSE buds, these will suffice. If you're looking for sleep tracking I wouldn't suggest this at all or use an external tracking app. The range of sounds and the quality of the sounds I get with BOSE were enough to make me feel good about paying more for BOSE headphones. If the app was more reliable and accurate, I'd probably keep it. I bought a detailed sleep tracker app for my Apple Watch to keep track and I feel like Amazefit too. and BOSE buds have really helped me deal better with sleep disorders and the length of time I'm awake. I could focus on sounds instead of intrusive thoughts. I think I reduced the time I was awake from 30-60 minutes to 10-20 minutes. Overall, if you don't expect the app to be accurate, I think these are good headphones that offer a noise barrier (noise cancellation only).
