The lid is strong and closes well. Strength and durability - we'll see over time. A 1 year coverage guarantee slip is included in the box. But now my hub doesn't fit on the side. I either have to remove the cap when using the hub or cut a piece off the edge of the cap to fit the hub. I'll keep the lid on because I like it and I'll take care of it. Maybe I need a hub that connects to my MacBook Pro with a cable. Oh, and the included flash drive doesn't work. Screen protector and keyboard cover work and are the right size.
