I have no problem picking up the small items I bought them for. Tried 2 different micro plastic pickups. but the slightest pressure to force the hand apart resulted in failure as they split. It has enough flexibility without worrying about binding. As for the complaints about the tape on the aluminum box. didn't happen to me. can be removed without glue. easily removed with acetone or adhesive remover. no reason not to buy. For tight spaces. superior to hemostatic and other instruments because they are narrow
