Excellent packing cubes for organizing and compressing clothes and other items

Packing cubes arrived in plastic packaging with contents and country of origin (made in China). The dice are very light and made out of nylon so they should repel small splashes and the stitching is very strong. They have a zippered opening that goes just over halfway down the cube. They don't open like "clamshells" but offer plenty of space at the top for inserting and removing items. Each has a second zipper that allows you to expand or contract the cube. The compression zipper runs through the entire bag. The zippers are strong, but the nylon material is close to the zipper so you can snag the zipper if you're not careful. I haven't had any issues with it, but will continue to pay attention to how flashes perform over time. There are three cubes of different sizes: a large cube (I will use it to pack pants and can hold about 3 pairs), a medium cube (a pack of 4 t-shirts) and a small cube (4 pairs of underwear and 4 pairs of socks ). ). The cubes hold more than they look and I can easily fit more items. The average 4-T-shirt cube is fully compressed; when i open the compression zip, 2 shirts or other things fit in the pockets. The benefit of cubes is that they bring everything together and fit neatly in your suitcase or in my case, plenty of room for extra items. They can be great at compressing items to make room in your suitcase, or they can expand to fit more and provide a way to organize your clothes. I will keep updating my review as I use more and more packing cubes over time. Having used the cubes for several trips they hold up great and have helped me a lot with organizing my backpack. I find them not only great for packing things, but also for preventing dirty clothes from reaching into your bag on the way home. I had an issue with the compression zip on a large bag if I tried to zip it up too quickly when it was full - the inner lining could get caught in the zip. I have found that sliding the lining in when zipping prevents this. I didn't have this problem with small cubes and with large ones only when it was full.

Pros
  • Pack organizer
Cons
  • Almost everything is in order
