I wanted to love this bag but I had a shipping box just in case. I'm still wondering if I'll get it back. I love it and have already received several compliments on it. Pros: Very durable, holds a lot of things. A laptop and files, notebooks, etc. fit here without any problems. Since the bag is aligned in a north-south direction and not in an east-west direction, you can put small items on top of what you have packed. Everyone will tell you this is a great looking bag and they will be right, but it's not as functional as it could be. Cons: Other reviews that say you can't look inside this bag are absolutely correct. It's very difficult to pack because you can't see where the pockets are, so it usually takes a few tries to get the files all the way down without getting stuck in the inner pocket. Maybe it's just because my bag is new and not broken in yet, but the straps on this bag are annoying! The short straps ALWAYS overlap, so you have to constantly move the straps out of the way when packing and unpacking. I wonder if the bag below is packed or empty, which I like a lot. HOWEVER, the shoulder strap underneath the bag is very difficult to remove, again requiring you to constantly move the straps to pack/unpack this bag. It doesn't sit straight, the shoulder strap always falls underneath. Other reviews that say the front pocket is virtually useless are correct. Unless you need a pocket for an extra paper clip (a very small flat object) or two, you probably won't ever use it. Conclusion: I love this bag. I do not like that. Four stars just for the fact that it ends up being cool, I get compliments it's nice and spacious which is always a plus.
