They are easy to install if you have the right tools. I used a set of torx bits, a 3/8 inch ratchet and an extension. Make sure the screws holding the lightbar in place are long enough to accommodate the thickness of these fasteners. When you put them on, leave them a little loose. This will help when installing the lightbar to the brackets. After everything is installed, cross-tighten the screws on the fasteners. Tighten one screw on each side. Don't tighten everything on one side and then the other side. As a result, you get a strip of light that is located off-center. Also, do not fully tighten the lightbar's screws until you have positioned it. I suggest 2 people to install it properly and easily. Unless you have 4 hands and stretch armstrong skills. Make sure you have a quality light bar. Quadretec, Rough Country or Rugged Ridge have great lights.
