I ordered this cable to connect my work laptop to the VGA port on one of my monitors and finally be able to use my home and work display setup without disconnecting anything. . On the first day of use (Friday) everything worked perfectly. However, it is next Monday, and although both the computer and the monitor recognize that the cable is connected, the monitor is not receiving a signal from the cable and the ends of the cable are HOT. I will try to find a replacement. on that point and will update my review if it turns out I just have a bad cable but I can't recommend it at this time.
