Can't believe how well made they are! Solid Metal - VERY strong, with welded top, bottom and bottom stiffeners. Everything is firmly welded and free of burrs. Real craftsmanship. Phenomenally beautiful. They are magnetic so not stainless steel - galvanized steel I believe. The label doesn't say so. It doesn't really say much. But written in infinitesimal handwriting (blue on a blue background) and one can confirm that they were made in China - there is nothing surprising about that, except that they appear to be very well made in China.
