This case is great for surface work. It's light, fits well, the pen slot is tight, and overall it feels like the case can do a good job of protecting against small drops from edges/corners. The color matched my magenta keyboard perfectly. The slots on the side seem to line up correctly for the most part and all the buttons work correctly. I don't have a USB hub/dock to test with, but I suspect the thickness of the case on the USB side might be an issue if you want to use an aftermarket USB hub/dock that's designed to fits snugly in the case. . If your hub is wired, you shouldn't have any problems. There are two areas where I had problems: 1. The body limits the hinge's range of motion. In this case, you cannot open the loop at the widest point for writing. To me this is not a violation of the terms and conditions, but a limitation.2. When the hinge is open, the hole above the headphone jack will slip and it may be difficult to insert the headphone jack without wiggling. Overall I'm happy with this case and would buy it again if I were to buy a different system or change my keyboard color.
