Let's start with the positives: 1) Great height - perfect for my 7 and 4 year olds 2) Shelving - perfect space for a couple of workbooks (but not too much). much for the mess). Wood protectors are attached to the bottom of each leg to keep them from slipping and scratching the floor. 3) The seat is durable and easy to assemble. (HUGE) Cons: 1) Holes don't line up! First, the wooden support members weren't properly glued to the top. We had to remove a piece of wood to properly attach the legs. After the legs were screwed on, we had to re-glue the pieces of wood about a quarter inch down the center to provide support. 2) The legs were broken. My jacks glued the legs together. If my husband didn't have industrial super glue and staples to dry completely I wouldn't be comfortable letting my kids use this table. But my hubs assured me it should hold after he finished gluing it. I will be very careful with the number of books we allow on the table. Just in case. Also, I wish the table also came with hardwood protection on the legs like the seat did. Also, I want it mounted just as securely as the seat.
