Yes obviously it's a Chinese supplier so I was hesitant to buy and some old reviews said they were crap but MINE are fantastic and I'm very glad I got them. They're *heavy* and don't look like junk. They're dense and very sharp, and the enamel doesn't look like it's going to wear or chip/peel anytime soon. *beautiful* personal, how serious. Absolutely over the moon with these. A word of caution: I had some machine oil between the blades and around the screw when I received them so I made sure to wipe it off before using These are embroidery scissors, not for sewing anyway so not for permanent cutting of big pieces of fabric, which I see a lot of complaints about.
