I originally bought this because I'm always at my computer and need a comfortable wrist rest. It does the job, it goes great with a double sided placemat that I also bought from another seller. It adds style to a simple table. And it doesn't move, that's for sure. No matter how roughly I move the mouse, the pad stays in place and the mouse glides smoothly over the surface texture. If my color scheme in my room ever changes I will definitely be back for a different colored rug.
