Exactly what I needed
I wanted a segmented basket for a specific rather small space in my closet. I put off doing the laundry because sorting was a separate project. This allows me to sort by category (I make delicate work items, household clothes that I can reuse, and athletic wear/underwear/socks). The material feels a little flimsy, but it's not something that needs to be stuffed to the brim. It has helped me a lot so far! Things to look out for: I live in an apartment and have a small washer and dryer. If you have a larger washing machine, you could probably pack all three segments into one load (that's about the size).
