The hand I received appears to be a brand new OEM replacement and I had no problems installing it. Overall the repair took about an hour and the drone now flies better than ever. I highly recommend the iFixIt toolkit, nonconductive flux, and a suction cup to remove old solder. If you are replacing the front brackets, use extreme care when removing the antenna. Use needle nose pliers to slip under the joint and gently push up to pull out. If you press it any other way, it's very easy to damage that connection and ruin your drone. I also recommend checking your solder joints to make sure they are secure and not shorted. Accidental short-circuiting can lead to power failure and/or an accident.
