This is definitely not stainless steel. Whenever we try to wash ours with hot water, the metallic "steel" coating rubs off all of my hands, leaving a dark black film that's difficult to remove even with soap and hot water. Mixing drinks can be unhealthy. I would return it for a refund if it hadn't been months since we bought it. Do yourself a favor and do something better. It is definitely not stainless steel and covered with a film of poison. Try washing yours under hot water and then look at your hands. Disgusting and cheap. This product is a court case waiting in the wings.
