I tested the device on two different WinXP based systems and the results are the same. Out of the box, the device didn't recognize most of the connected SCSI devices, and as soon as I changed the configuration of the various addresses to not use the default address, the device drivers that came with the device caused a kernel panic in XP at the moment when something or related to it. You cannot get the configuration without connecting the device. If you do this, you will get a kernel panic and you will not be able to reset the configuration in any other way. The company about non-crashing drivers or other configuration reset methods went unanswered.
