Review on ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Ultimate Protection in Style: Peak Design Black Shell Medium Form-Fitting Rain and Dust Cover by Sandra Reyes

solid, reliable and well designed, but only you can determine if it's worth it.

Probably one of the most well thought out and thought out camera rain covers ever designed. However, it has no downsides as far as I can tell while using it. It even manages to be folded compactly, giving it more reason to live in your bag all the time. The medium size is perfect for a mirrorless camera like my Fujifilm X-T2 in combination with a 16-55mm ฦ’/2.8 lens. It's a bit short with my 50-140mm ฦ’/2.8 lens. Both the lenses and camera body are weatherproof, but the lid is there to keep everything dry in heavy rain like here in Seattle. The cap has a small protrusion in case you don't use a lens hood. Protected by an internal bungee, it appears to work with anything up to 82mm in diameter, maybe even larger. There are also bungees on the back to secure the camera body when not in use. Overall it works and is made of durable materials. It may not cost you the price, but it's better than buying plastic bags all the time.

Pros
  • Excellent value for money
Cons
  • Slightly torn
