We love this system and it works great for dogs IF the collar doesn't fail. I bought 6 collars and in less than a month it was $4,150 to replace EACH. Red thongs (they give) are weak and easy to chew. They offer a replacement band for $10. The thin plastic case is easily damaged by teeth. (As seen in the picture) We bought and traded $4 Blue Collars with steel buckles from Jeffers Pet. I have medium sized dogs in the 40 to 50 lb range. A large dog would eat this collar as a snack. I'm trying to figure out how to make the case more durable. I wish they made them out of fiberglass or some reinforced material instead of flimsy plastic.
