So I bought these to try as menstrual sponges and was surprised that they're good for nothing and not suitable. Here are a few ways I've tried them and they've been disappointing: * Face Cleansing: Sure, they clean my face, but I think a similar effect (perhaps milder) could be achieved with a standard store-bought dishwashing sponge. They are WAY too harsh for my sensitive skin, didn't remove my makeup very well and just hurt.* Menstrual Sponge: OK, they soaked up blood and my client didn't realize makeup sponges worked during menstruation ). But getting in was difficult and painful, but pulled out. also hard and painful. I will use silk sponges or non-latex makeup sponges, thanks! *Water spots: They didn't even wet my paper evenly or smoothly and lifted the pimples on the paper. * Body Sponge: I mean it worked, but it's not enough to effectively cleanse yourself. Yes, it's good for that. For example, if you need to exfoliate your neck or elbows, this is great for storing a small amount of body scrub and applying it to a small part of your body. * Dishes: Too small to wash dishes effectively. I have tried. If anyone can figure out how to use these sponges please let me know as I'm embarrassed to just throw them away but I haven't found anything they excel at yet. Luckily, if you find a use for them, you can easily reuse them in the washing machine. I accidentally washed one and it came out just fine. Hooray?
