I had high hopes for these shoes but they were very uncomfortable. The steel toe lies on the side and the toes are clamped. I was hoping that after a week of wearing it would get better, but it got worse. I've tried increasing the width by loosening the laces and I've tried thicker socks but still felt pinched. I ordered half a size bigger and the sock length was ok, the width was ok too. They have great shoes, seem well made, soft insole, good grip. Unfortunately I'll write that off as a loss and will get back to my boots.
