Review on πŸ•’ Slate Suede Watchband by Benchmark Straps by Chris Lacasse

Revainrating 4 out of 5

More comfortable than the Garmin VivioActive Music 3 silicone band

So firstly the screwdriver is not included I think I was misled by the pictures but I thought it was because my other bands were supplied with the tools. But you don't have to install it just to remove your old one unless it has a little sliding bar like they have Fossil bracelets. My Garmin Vivoactive Music also has a remove slider so I was fine. The Garmin version of this strap was $60 and had a matching bezel. As picky as I am about the bands, I couldn't justify it even though they're on sale for $39. It attaches well and has 2 straps (whatever they're called). It's comfortable, but I would have preferred suede on both sides. However, I'm allergic to silicone, so this is a much better option. although for $20 it was supposed to have BOTH lanyard pins and I only had one. I could browse through old watch straps and find one, but I didn't have to. The gray color I bought doesn't match the Garmin watch face/plastic unless you go to the dark side then it kinda does. The only other complaint is that the Bandkeeper has an appearance that irritates my skin and doesn't feel like real suede. Overall I would give this a 3.0 for convenience, 4 for ease of installation (no tool-affected installation), and 2 stars for just one pin when 2 are clearly needed.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
