I've been getting sunspots on my face for a few years. They run along the temple to the middle of the cheek area. I also have a large sunspot on my arm about 4 inches from my wrist. Like most men, I don't really mind that my face looks exhausted. I earn it. I've been using Clinique products since high school decades ago, so once upon a time, pampering my cup was really important to me. The spots were too much on my face. I am not an old sailor. I bought it 10 days ago and was skeptical. The lotion is very thin and the smell is a bit "old school". I applied a little to the places on the face where dark spots appeared. Be careful around the eyes and remember not to touch your eyes with your fingers or after accidentally touching the application area. I applied more to the actual blemishes and then smoothed them out around the main areas as I didn't want the overtly lighter areas on my darker complexion. I apply a little to a few blemishes on my arms and apply a heavier swab to my large sun spot on my arm. The results in less than 2 weeks are amazing. The patch on my arm is 80% lighter and goes well with my normal skin tone. I suspect that after a few uses you won't notice that obvious dark spot at all. My face is definitely lighter and the spots are gradually fading to a less pronounced shade. My hands run a little slower since I wash them so often I probably wash them off during the day. I apply it in the evening and let it dry a bit. I apply just enough that it's a little visible (especially on blemishes) but after a while it gets absorbed. I then apply it in the morning after applying my regular lotions. I suspect most people apply this as a regular moisturizer because they want to treat the entire discoloration area; That's why the bathrooms are huge. I use it sparingly on my obvious dark spots, then dab a little onto the surrounding area. I'm amazed at how this works for ME! Everyone has different skin, habits, and imperfections they try to hide, so this can produce different results. My dark spots are solely due to the sun and aging and this lotion works on both my hands and face. The price is minimal to try it, so it's not a big loss if it irritates your skin or doesn't work for your condition. Immediately after application I feel a slight coolness (not a painful burning sensation), but this goes away very quickly. Worth a try and I'm impressed with the results. I'm not the picky type, but it's time to do something to reduce my growing collection of dark spots. For your health :)
