This is a regular longboard. The packaging is of poor quality (they put plastic and paper under the carts so you have to unscrew them from the board if you want to pull them out. Why?) It turns well but doesn't get far even with a pair of good ones bumps. Mine came with the trucks scratched and the paint on the board was peeling off a bit like it's been used a few times and when I put it on the floor not all the wheels were touching the floor (like a slanted table). Truck defective. I wish I could return it if I had the chance, but this is such a problem. If you have the money I would suggest buying a higher quality board. I have a Santa Cruz Landshark (purchased direct from their website) and I've definitely felt the difference in quality and experience. Bottom line: if you're just looking for a first learning/breaking experience, or if you're ok with buying new axles and wheels, then buy. Just make sure and check the default settings. If you are looking for a quality commuter board I would not recommend this one.
