(based on first use) These pins did exactly what we needed! We tried writing names on glass mugs with sharp pens and then baking the mugs. It "sort of" worked, but the results wore off after a few washes. So we looked for something that would be more likely to prevent fading or erasing. There were several oil pen options, and Beric pens seemed like the best combination of rating and price. Having used them to rewrite names on mugs I would say they are very easy to use although I wish we had good results instead of average. Not a product flaw, just the average results were a little harder to keep on the lines I've already written. However, the paint applied perfectly - not too thin, not "clumpy", just right. It camouflages well - very opaque, which is what we wanted. (Note: Be patient to start drawing: shake GOOD and then press the tip firmly on the sheet of paper until it fills with color and starts dotting the paper. I pressed about 15 times, so the instructions to say "a few" can be a bit misleading.) I can't rate their durability yet, but based on how they look after first use I'm guessing they are in terms of glass retention will be better with gentle washing. . (I also plan to bake mugs as several reviews recommend it.)
