In my opinion a very durable stand for home use. I can position it to fit my small space really well and when our little granddaughter is over I just make sure it's tucked away so she can't damage it. It's probably not something you want your kids to be clowns on, and it's not something you can get into as soloists in bands. After reading some bad reviews I decided to give it a try anyway and I and I'm very happy I did. !I had no trouble putting it together and it keeps my mic in place. You can tighten it just right and it will hold your mic right where you want it. I especially like the legs that are wide apart ___ they keep it stable ___ don't fall off. Would I recommend it to anyone ___ I DEFINITELY WILL. Be smart when assembling and don't let children play with it! If they use it, set rules so they DO NOT break it after a few uses. This is a very good stand.
