Review on Elastic Dust Ruffles in King Size - White 16-Inch Drop Wrap Around Bed Skirts: Easy Fit and Bedskirt Dust Ruffles by Gin Bajema

Great skirt! in bed skirts

I couldn't find a matching skirt locally in a contrasting color to match the duvet I recently bought let alone how expensive they are. So I took a chance and ordered it for $12.99. I have the right color combination I was looking for. My box spring sits on a high wooden bed frame with drawers. The height from the top of the spring block to the ground is 16-1/2 inches (Photo #1). I bought an 18 inch bed skirt (pic #2) and it worked great. Final view (photo #3). Installation: I attached the skirt to the top edge of the box spring (photo #2) which was so ez and ez on the back btw... without lifting the mattress... and used twisted pins (suggested in another post) to hold that in place Rock in place. The extra 1-1/2" of material gives enough slack to work where the hem of the skirt gently touches the floor, which I like. It took a little time to attach the skirt, but it was worth it. PINs may not be needed but I want to provide extra security. The skirt was wrinkled from shipping. I put it in the dryer on medium heat with a fabric softener sheet for about 5 minutes. The creases are gone. Unfortunately the photo shows creases (shade etc.), but actually it hangs fine. You could probably spray glue and iron it to make it look tougher, but yikes. Iron?! I was happy with this "as is" out of the dryer. That Material isn't flimsy or heavy in place Can't comment on durability and ease of care yet as I haven't had it that long I think it will last a while and looks like it will be easy to clean. Usually add I don't add photos to my reviews, but I did so to prove that I can't say enough about how happy I am with my purchase.
