This is the second Agptek MP3 player I have bought and the first one I bought about 6 months ago still works. This morning when I wasn't out my MP3 player suddenly stopped so I assumed the battery was dead, although I'm pretty sure they'll be full most of the time. Arrived at home, plugged in, the logo lit up and immediately went out. I started pressing the home button to turn it back on and felt a slight electrical burn on my index finger. I thought nothing of it and kept trying to turn my device on, but it never turned on. Then I turned it over to see why my finger still felt burnt and I saw that something on the back had melted. I suspect it's the battery. I bought this unit 2 months ago but sent it to a friend in New York as I wasn't in the States at the time so I've only been using it for about 3 weeks. I am very disappointed because it will be difficult for me to get another one and I love this product. I wrote a review earlier and mentioned that it even fell in the pool and it still works. I suspect it had some kind of bad battery or short circuit because I really didn't use it long enough to cause that much damage in just 3 weeks.
