Review on The Beadsmith Deluxe Ergo 9-Piece Tool Set: Ultimate Jewelry Making Kit with Pliers and Tweezers by Barbara Simmons

Tools ok, case not so good

The tools in this set are as advertised. The springs are not too strong, so the hand is not strained when working with tools. The grips are soft and should be fine. These are for my wife and they seem to fit her hand well. Now it works in a bead shop, so let's see how these tools hold up with regular use. The suitcase is nothing special. Although nine tools fit in the case, they don't really fit! The case has small elastic loops on each side of the case that must be worn on each instrument to keep them from hanging around in the case. Unfortunately, the elastic loops are too small to hold all the tools. So there is always at least one tool that just gets stuck in the case and bounces off other tools. I don't think this will damage the tools or their cutting or swaging edges, but it's clear that the case wasn't really designed for these nine tools. This case is just an afterthought. Overall I am happy with this product and I believe it will serve the purpose for which it was purchased.
