Poor performance/rapid degradation

Bought several of these devices for the brand and length from Tripp Lite. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. As other reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't carry enough current to charge modern devices, and it's also very susceptible to wear and tear due to its length and thin wires. At this length you need something better. Now I only buy Anker micro USB cables for my smart devices.
