Purchase for my outdoor hiking needs. It is very small and compact, but equipped with many different tools, including a screwdriver, knife. It's so small and you definitely can't use this ax to chop wood. Luckily I don't need a real axe, I just use this little ax to start a fire. Because it's so compact, it's easy to store and carry anywhere along with your outdoor gear. I choose this one over a hammer because it also comes with a small hammer. I rarely use a special hammer, but the built-in hammer is enough for me. The knives are also very sharp but I haven't used them and have been using this tool for a very long time so can't comment on durability at the moment.
