This is by far the best briefcase I have ever had. I bought it to take my portfolio and other documents to job interviews. I also have a 17 inch laptop which I recently used for this as well. The workmanship is excellent, the leather is soft but thick. The only negative I can say about this briefcase is that it is quite heavy, which is to be expected with real leather. I live in New York and don't have a car so I have to carry it if I need to take it somewhere which can be inconvenient. However it is very durable so I expect to have this portfolio for at least 10 years, well worth the investment.
