When my original cable snapped at the strain relief I tried to find a replacement locally but all they could find was a universal cable with an OD of 2.5mm which was way too big for this one Chromebook is. I found and ordered this fairly "blind" with little effort just by looking at the connector in the photo. While waiting for it to arrive I looked at several other chargers and they all only had a 2.5mm jack. I was quickly convinced that this one would also have a 2.5 mm jack plug and that I would have to send it back. When I opened the package today I was very happy that the connector fits my Chromebook perfectly! Now it is being charged after sitting with dead battery for more than a month. URGENT spare. Thank you for saving my outdated, refurbished Chromebook! After checking with a metric ruler, the outside diameter is 2mm, not 2.5mm. Bought 2 more and they are all really 2.0mm. Great, now I have a spare!
