I was a bit worried about the price it's almost half what you paid for an HP Xl so I don't know how good the printed pages are must have been. To my surprise they are pretty good, I print my garden picture on plain paper with normal settings, no picture just color. I was impressed with the colors. The printer is excellent, but the results are not satisfactory without quality ink. only renewal; if you are more interested in office work and printing a document with an image in it. This is the ink you need to be looking for. You get your money's worth.
