Review on 💡 Powerful and Adjustable Dimmable 5630SMD Halogen Replacement Rowrun by Josh Chenier

I have waited until I have used it for a reasonable amount of time to leave a review. Unfortunately, this device is NOT intended for long-term use. I use it over my desktop for fine detail projects and it was great when I first installed it. After a few weeks I realized that it takes time to catch fire. Not really a big deal, but a little curious. After about 500 hours of use, 3-4 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, it wasn't fully lit. Reaches only up to 25% brightness. I made sure all the contacts on both the device and the mount (typical spring mount) were clean and tight and no improvement. I tried to contact the seller (manufacturer?) but to no avail so I worked with Revain and got a refund. With a claimed lifespan of 60,000 hours, that's not even 1% of that. Pretty poor performance in terms of life expectancy. Combined with the non-existent customer service from the seller, I would avoid this unit unless you are willing to swap it out a few times a year.
