Review on πŸ–₯️ StarTech.com Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort Adapter 4K 60Hz - Advanced Thunderbolt 3 Certified Video Converter - Enhance Your Setup with Dual 4K DisplayPort Monitors - Mac & Windows Compatible by Michael Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great on Mac Mojave and Windows 10 with dual 28 " 4K monitors

I had an old Startech Dual DisplayPort to USB 3 adapter that. (60hz adapter) worked fine and was 60hz but it just couldn't keep up with the window movements so when I dragged a window over the adapter over an external monitor it lagged behind what my mouse was actually doing .This new StarTech Thunderbolt Adapter plugged into the Thunderbolt 3 port on my Dell 2-1 5290 and my 2018 Macbook Pro (both Mojave and Win10 Bootcamp) works GREAT! No lag, just smooth external monitors. This adapter has completely replaced the Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 eGPU dock at work, allowing me to take the eGPU home and use it for gaming. If you manually point "Windows Universal Display Device" in Windows 10 Device Manager in Bootcamp to the nVidia driver folder, it picks up correctly and works fine. To do this, you need to download the nVidia driver and go halfway through the installation path before you get a message that you don't have nVidia on your system. This will download a folder on drive C which can then be referenced in Device Manager for manual driver installation. Back on topic, in case anyone is interested, the StarTech Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter works great. 60Hz on dual 4K monitors with fast refresh when moving apps across external displays.
