The quality of the mouse pad seems to be good, but the actual photo of the turtle in the water is completely blurry. The light blue water you see in the photo is more of a muted, disappointing blue-green. My photo of the mouse pad actually makes the color of the mouse pad look pretty good, but then again, personally, it doesn't. Perhaps this turquoise color is a more natural reflection of what the water around the turtle actually looks like, but the photo is misleading. Apparently it is an underwater photo. The turtle also looks blurry. The print quality could have been a lot better too, but then again it looks like an underwater photo. Maybe it really does look like it. Or maybe the printer the company was using wasn't very high quality. I suspect it's the photo itself. It's possible that the other company's photos shown here look better live, and this turtle is the only one that looks washed out in person, but I can't say for sure as it's the only mouse pad I've purchased from that company have. I'm sure if someone likes turtles and needs a mouse pad, they will really like this large format mouse pad and won't give a damn about the comparison of personal vs online photos I just took. The mouse will cover a significant portion of the pad anyway, and it's just a mouse pad. However, it's been so long (if ever) since I've received a product photo online. A part of me still wants to keep the turtle mouse pad because it's still a cool photo. But the color difference in real life is stunning and not at all as light blue as I imagined sitting on the table. I will try another turtle mouse pad.
