The design on this one is almost perfect but worth it for what it is.

In the end it's a piece of metal and a screw. it's strong Enough said. I'll eliminate the cons before explaining why you should get this one instead of the other one you're probably looking at, BrainWavz Hengja: - The hanging hook isn't curved to contour the headband of the headphones. Nothing bad, but it would be nice. If I could, I would deduct ten stars for that. Threads are not very smooth. A small amount of millennial silicone grease I bought for three bucks ten years ago fixed it. I would probably deduct a tenth of a star for that. Why you should buy these over the others: - Silicone/rubber (can't tell) Grommets on both ends (reviews suggest some older stock may NOT BE RETURNED if there is no silicone/rubber on either end of the clamp located). This does two things: it prevents damage to the clamped surface and reduces the clamping force required to keep it stationary. Henja requires you to screw in the suction cup to keep it in place. This makes it unlikely that you will continue to attract after the first contact. It clamps surfaces from 0 to 38 mm. Henja has a minimum surface thickness of around 21mm before you will run out of threads and undo itself, anything thinner than 21mm and you will need to use shims. Not with this hanger. It has a large thumbscrew and no fussy wrench or screwdriver is required. The lip prevents things from falling. The design is close to perfect, but the product is worth it. Make the hanger a little wider, give it a curve and make the threads better and it will be perfect.
