I keep the two largest ones in my truck as I eat out often and have leftovers. I've almost given up using styrofoam boxes with these containers. However, I'm not entirely sure about these containers for use with liquids. While I've never spilled anything while using them, the vent at the top doesn't appear to be airtight. The fact that they are collapsible makes them even more convenient to use. Before I go to a restaurant, I pull one out of the truck console and carry it in my purse when needed. I wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher. I also reheat leftovers in these containers in the microwave, but don't trust a single vent to do the job (the lid will sag). I got my money's worth with this set.
