I wanted a non terry cloth and warmer weather cape so I gave this one a try. For me, a man with a 33 inch waist, the fit is quite large. I've pushed the velcro in as far as I want to take it and it still feels a little loose. Some loosening can be attributed to sponge rubber when slightly compressed. I'm wondering if it will survive many wash/dry cycles before looking for a new way to tie it together. Time will tell and maybe I'll be in for a pleasant surprise. That being said, that's what I wanted, not a comfortable length terry cover.
