I liked this charger for about 2 months while I had it but tonight as I went to bed I started hearing a hiss. Luckily I quickly realized it was coming from my phone because I was using my phone as a flashlight and the cord fell off. The part where it connects to my phone melted! Haven't tested if my phone will charge yet but it looks like it will. Thank goodness it didn't start a fire. My baby and I sleep just a few feet away. The connector was not bent or damaged and was only used to charge my phone overnight. I'm afraid to use the second cable I have because I'm afraid it will catch fire too. Tomorrow I will buy new cables.
