Disclosure: The skin under my beard has always been drier than usual. I have tried different oils, balms and detergents. This one isn't that good. The aroma is amazing. My fiancé loves this. Unfortunately, it doesn't keep skin well hydrated. My beard is about an inch and a half long and neatly groomed. The usual routine is to use a beard wash when I shower at night. I dry it thoroughly and use a balm. I used beard oil in the morning. A week later, the skin began to peel off and dry out. Note: I have never used wax because it is very thick. I would not recommend it to anyone with dry skin. It won't help.
