Optically correct - reading glasses

Some of the reviews are odd in that they were expecting something other than the descriptions so clearly written above. I would like to mention that my eyes "almost" absolutely need an average correction of 0.00 diopters. If it wasn't for my 1-1.25D astigmatism they would be fine. However, I have to do a lot of hard work. So I need the magnification that 4.0D can give. These are optically correct lenses. I ordered (and received) a 1.0D/4.0D lens properly assembled and optically positioned so that the 4.0D portion fits my eyes perfectly when viewing the subject in focus (4-6 inches). . Why else would you need a 4.0D lens? This radius of curvature is a magnifying lens that allows you to view objects very closely and in more detail than your eye could normally focus on. The lens surrounding the 4.0 part is 1.0D, which gives you a much lower magnification, allowing you to focus further into the glasses. It might be blurry, but at least you can see a few feet without taking off your glasses. (how to look at the oscilloscope screen) Excellent quality. You look way better than I expected (madam approves). If you really take close-ups, you should like them. Very good compact storage box.
