I have the black hip belt (exterior color). It was well packaged in a gift box, and the belt and buckle were wrapped in plastic wrap. The belt fit well. By pressing the end of the strap, the strap moves to the next locking position (ratchet). This allows for many micro-adjustments to get the right fit, unlike straps with holes that can be too far apart to get the perfect fit. You lift the front of the strap to release it from the locked position. The only thing I really didn't like was the feel and look of the belt. Although it's 100% real leather and very well made, it doesn't feel quite like real leather. But that's to be expected for the price.
