Even after seeing all the great reviews I was stunned when I opened the box and found this amazing table! This would be a very nice table for a small apartment or dining room, for a young couple just starting out and this is a luxury card table. Haven't had a chance to use it as a card table yet, but I'm REALLY looking forward to it. Photos do not convey this heavy piece of furniture. I will definitely be buying a vinyl tablecloth to protect it and will probably even find a cover to protect it during storage. If you are looking for something to abuse, this is NOT your table. I wouldn't call it delicate but I think it needs good care. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's heavy. I'm a woman over 50 in good shape and it's quite heavy and bigger than I thought but I can still install it, carry it while it's installed, take it off and store it myself though if a husband or son suggests , I'll make her do it. lol apron? around the countertop is deeper than I expected. This table is made entirely of cherry. It's just great! The ONLY thing I've noticed that might be an issue (I'll report back when we actually use it for a serious and enthusiastic Euchre tournament) is that it can be a bit wobbly. It can't be any better than the cheap metal ones now being sold for the same price. Don't get me wrong the legs are GOOD and thick with good padding. I doubt I'll be dissatisfied with this table at all!
