I bought a couple dozen of these - mixed between this 9" version and the shorter 6" version. Both are amazing. I use them to install IP cameras in computer rooms at work. They are versatile and adjustable. None of them have let me down. you hold on. I've never had any issues with the camera sagging or otherwise changing direction after installation. They're very quick to assemble provided you know you can screw them securely into the wall. They come without mounting screws, so you'll need to find out what size is available at your local hardware store first. I can't remember the diameter of the screws, but you'll find out quickly. I've used 3/4" long screws going into the plywood with no problem. I've also used zip ties when I've hung them from the ceiling above them with pretty good success. To the question about the 9 or 6 inch model A: Although both fit my (Cisco) IP cameras, the 9" range provides more buffers for camera positioning, so any cables coming out of the back of the camera don't hit the wall where you're mounting the mount attached which is helpful when you want a narrow angle between the wall and the direction you are pointing the camera slight irritation I usually want to buy 4-6 of these at a time so I often have to have the only 2 in stock buy from the revain supplier and then wait weeks for the supplier to get more, i guess its not popular enough to have more but i really like them.
