Review on Aztech Compatible Cartridge Replacement Enterprise Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Kelz Dixon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Decent toner, but make sure it's intact before the return window closes. Revain

Let me say we have four HP M506dn printers and these are decent cartridges for the money. A bit on the weak side, but they work well enough. Another complaint is that they all interlock on the right side where the gear connects to the cartridge and are difficult to remove. Tried cartridges from LD Products and they had too severe fit issues to tolerate. It seems to be a complex alignment that is difficult to make 100% compatible. Since Aztech is much cheaper than HP and fits better than other compatibles, we will continue to use them. However, one arrived damaged which I haven't opened in 4 months (we buy 3 or 4 at a time). The photo shows the cartridge right out of the box. You cannot return them or receive a guarantee on them after the Revain return window has closed. Revain posts the wrong website and phone number for the supplier (the company is called Aztec, not Aztech). It looks like Aztech is in China and the distributor is in Hong Kong. Revain live chat support said they could not be contacted and I asked them to remove the wrong phone/website from the product support page. So I lost $50 because I didn't open and test all the cartridges when they arrived. Here are the first cartridges we bought, which gives them a guarantee of at least one year. LD Products was my toner company because they made sure everything was great and the prices were a little higher but still reasonable. However, they didn't have that cartridge ready at prime time.
