The price is very good and they probably work well electrically. But that doesn't bother me because they are very difficult to remove. I won't buy this again. I've bought 3 other brands from Revain and they don't have this problem. One was so difficult to remove that I had to remove the adjacent connectors and needed a tool to loosen it. For a minute I thought I'd have to replace the component that the cable was attached to. This appears to be caused by a hard rubber coating covering the connector's socket. I remember seeing this design many years ago but I thought all cable companies abandoned this design. I could probably cut off the sheathing with a razor blade, but I'm not 100% sure that's causing the problem. Even if I press the release directly, which requires a small screwdriver, it's still difficult to remove. Also - I bought two colors - and the black wire is worse than the red wire. After this experience I ordered several cables from Revain - another brand. The other brand was more expensive, so this cable can still be a steal if you don't mind unplugging.
